126. Making faces Cupcakes

These cupcakes were requested by BH, and I thought her idea of decorating the cupcakes were so simple, yet such fun! I'm not sure if she's going to match a cupcake with a colleague that constantly has an expression I had drawn onto the cupcake, but I sure hope no one will get upset if they get the "angry-faced" one! :0P
She bought cupcakes for her colleagues- Such a sweetie! I need colleagues like that...

These are a mix of Vanilla cupcakes with Blueberry filling, Chocolate cupcakes with Banana filling and Orange peel cupcakes. Enjoy!

125. Catering for Friends

Dear All,

I'm happy! *Big Grin* But a little tired from over-working, BUT! Happy nonetheless!
I've been busy cooking alot for friends - cooked for a total of 8 hours the past two days and I'm kind brain-dead now. Frankly, I feel like a piece of cardboard.
I was very excited when I got all the food prepared and ready for their lunches, but in my excitement, I forgot to take pictures!!! Argh!

Here are the only four pictures I managed to snap - Curried Deviled eggs, Wild Mushrooms with Mixed herbs, Chicken & Potato stir-fry & Chinese-style Fried rice.

By the way, I'd like to inform you guys that I will not be taking any orders for the 6th of Sept till the 10th of Sept only as I'll be baking a gift for MINDS' 2nd year anniversary celebration, and also, catering food & cake for my hubby's birthday. (I BOUGHT him a cake last year - which I've never stopped regretting, so the only way to redeem myself to is bake a yummilicious cake for him this year - and the next, and the next, and the next...! Haha!)

Anyways, do continue to email me with any of your queries and I will reply very soon!

Thanks & have a great rest of the week!
*Hugs*

124. One for the Hubby

Ok, so I can't stay put without doing something, anything in the kitchen. Yes, even on a lazy Saturday morning...
I made breakfast for The Hubby - who had to wake real early in the morning for his IPPT.
Here's to share what I made this morning, just in time for him as he got home from camp. *Smile*

Egg poached in Toast, served with Char-grilled chicken & Warm Wild mushrooms salad. *Yum*

123. LIVERPOOL CAKE

Even though I occasionally watch football, I'm not exactly a football club kinda fan. But I have to say that when M & C asked me to make this for their 1 year old, I could feel the love they shower on him. It's a strange feeling I don't know how to explain.

Perhaps it's the "You'll Never Walk Alone" slogan, plus also the very apt "You're #1 Josh" that they thought of, but it sure did make me feel like Josh is one kid not lacking in family love & encouragement!

Anyways, I hope he'll grow up loving football (Liverpool) like his daddy, and as his mommy puts it, "When better to start than his 1st birthday!".
Happy Birthday Josh! You're Number 1! :0)

Seems like it's football fever now. Never knew there were so many football fans till I made the LIVERPOOL cake for Josh!
Anyways, here's one for Kelvin. Happy Birthday!

122. It's Teachers' Day!

Hey Friends!

It's that time of the year we appreciate all our long-suffered TEACHERS! I know I was such a pain when I was in school and I cannot imagine the kind of pain my teachers suffered getting me to do well in school.
I'm very thankful for the patient ones who never gave up on me - thank God for them, I've completed University and am now doing my dream job! Errm, though I didn't study baking, but well, that's not the point. Hehe...

Anyways, I'm having a TEACHERS' DAY PROMOTION!
Details are below...

Hope to hear from you soon!

121. Gold Rose Nuggets

I got myself some bakeware while in Japan and made these today for sale. Only thing is, they need to be kept chilled after collection, which means packaging will be pricey. *Sulk* Well, we'll see what I can find for these. In the meantime, feast your eyes!

These are made with 70% Dark Belgium Chocolate Couverture and Edible (real) Gold Dust! They're really yummy & definitely for bitter chocolate fans!

120. Food for Thought -Sliced cakes

Good news for friends who've been wanting a slice of my cake every now and then, over a whole cake!
Firstly, I apologise that I have not been able to cater to your sliced cake urges for the longest time, but not anymore! Food for Thought is currently taking a few cakes from me every now and then and this week, there's my Apple pie and Strawberry Mirror chilled Cheesecake available! Do check them out for fresh food, great service & (before they sell-out) Chris' cakes!

Thanks once again for all your encouraging support!

P/s: In my excitement, I forgot to take a picture of my Strawberry Mirror cheesecake, but here's a picture of my Apple pie (again) to tempt your tastebuds!
