Apple Custard Cake

55. APPLE CUSTARD CAKE

Seriously, I ought to have a better name for this cake than the simple one it has. The amount of substance this cake has deserves better, but anyhow, it shall stick with this name till someone comes up with a better one. For now, I shall describe it to you...

It's made with vanilla sponge and has got all of the following fillings -
1) Fresh Granny Smiths & Royal Gala apples cooked in brown sugar and cinnamon spice
2) Apple juice
Homemade custard pastry cream with fresh vanilla pod beans
and topped with a delicate layer of sweet cinnamon spiced jelly.

For all you Apple fans out there- this is probably an indulgent alternative to apple pie with vanilla ice cream!

Chocolate Lava (Molten) Cake

54. CHOCOLATE LAVA / MOLTEN CAKE

Oh My GOSH!!!

This is SUPERB!

I can't say enough to explain how good this is!
Chocolate cake with warm fudge ooooozing out of its centre! What could be more heavenly??

However, I'm afraid this can only be eaten at the cafe - Space Out Cafe @ Katong Shopping centre #01-41. The staff will bake it on the spot for you - it takes about 10mins, but definately worth the wait!

Made with 70% cocoa dark chocolate, this Lava cake is the quinessential for all chocoholics!

Do make time to drop by Space Out cafe for my cakes and especially this Warm Chocolate Lava/Motlen Cake!

Ooo....I had my share....Oooooo....I'm happy...Ooooo.....lalalala... *GrinZ*
