209. Snow White 3D

Seems like people are into 3D these days. It's a lot of work, but looks better than 2D I guess. :0) It is really fun too, to make something a little less simple than a simple round cake!

The above is meant to be Snow White, but I couldn't find a doll with short black hair. So I picked one with dark hair...erm...highlighted with blonde. At least her gown is that of Snow White! This cake is a Strawberry Shortcake - with lucious layers of Vanilla sponge, fresh strawberries and fresh cream. Happy Birthday Karena! Many thanks to her aunt S. for giving me advance notice on this. Hope you got many kisses for it. :0)

208. Thomas the Tank Engine 3D

This one is from Mommy P. for her 3-year old son, Ignatius. It's a 70% Dark Belgium Chocolate fudge cake, iced with fresh cream. I used Chocolate creme Oreos as wheels and cocoa marzipan for the chimney.

Thomas is one of my daughter's favourite character, but I've only JUST gotten her a bagful of wooden Thomas & Friends trains for her from Amazon. I guess if she likes it so much come her 2nd birthday, I will probably make a cake such as this for her!

207. Cupcake pops

I FINALLY got down to making these cupcake pops which I have been thinking about for the longest time! They really are cakes on lollipop sticks and are just the most brilliant of party door gifts anyone could have! I made mine using Chocolate cake and cream cheese frosting, and coated them using (yummy) candy melts.

Soooo, if you guys are interested in getting them, do drop me an email by the 24th April 2010. I'm opening orders for them for EASTER week ONLY, collection/delivery from 29th March till 1st April 2010.
Afterwhich, I'll be travelling up north for the weekend with my family and will be back to making yummies from 9th April.

Hear from you soon! In the meantime, here are more to whet your appetite! *Nom Nom Nom Nom*

206. Guinness

This Guinness glass is made of moist (and really really yummy) Guinness Stout Chocolate cake. It's iced with 70% dark Belgium chocolate fudge and cream cheese as the "foam". Notice the Guinness harp? It's made using marzipan and painted with edible gold dust. Bottom's up!
